Manchester United will allow five players to leave Old Trafford this week, according to a report in England.
The Manchester Evening News, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the Red Devils will allow Belgium international Marouane Fellaini to leave the Old Trafford outfit when his current runs out later this week.
The same article states that Nigerian-born midfielder Tosina Kehide and Scotland’s underage star Ethan Hamilton will both be released despite previously impressing for the Red Devils at youth level.
According to the same story, Zak Dearnley is set to be shown the exit door despite Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho previously naming the teenager as a talent and Callum Whelan is the fifth player set to leave the 20-time English champions.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement at the end of the 2012-13 season.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to bitter rivals Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season to miss out on silverware.
Manchester United have signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot in the summer transfer window.
Mourinho took over the reins from Louis van Gaal in May 2016.
