The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new recruits this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging Manchester City’s dominance at the top of the Premier League table next season.
The Red Devils finished in second place last term but 19 points behind the runaway champions, as Mourinho’s second campaign ended without a trophy.
Attentions have now inevitably turned towards the summer transfer window and the players the Red Devils could look to sign this summer to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
Now, former agent Rodriguez is claiming that the Red Devils are working on deals to sign Fred, Alex Sandro, Diego Dalot and Marco Verratti this summer.
Writing on Twitter, Rodriguez said: “Manchester United are deep in negotiations and at an advanced stages for Fred, Alex Sandro and Diogo Dalot and conversation with Raiola have begun regarding Verratti.”
Manchester United ended the season without a trophy when they lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last month.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League title since their famous final triumph in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge at Old Trafford back in 2013.
