Man United face competition from top European club to sign Gareth Bale – report
Manchester United face competition from Bayern Munich to sign Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window, according to a report
Gareth Bale will decide between a transfer to Bayern Munich or Manchester United this summer, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet El Confidencial, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Bale has two concrete offers from the European giants in the current transfer window.
The same article states that Bale is divided about whether to move to Bayern or Liverpool FC, although the Wales international is leaning towards a switch to the Allianz Arena.
However, the report in Spain suggests that the Champions League holders will demand between £105m and £134m for the 29-year-old following his heroics in Kiev.
Bale came off the bench to score an incredible overhead goal to restore Real Madrid’s lead before Loris Karius parried his long-range shot into his own net to secure a 3-1 win.
The Welsh forward has won four Champions League titles, the La Liga crown and the Cope del Rey title during his five-season spell at The Bernabeu.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term and the Red Devils need some more world class talent in their squad to overhaul Manchester City.
The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
