Jose Mourinho told Man United should sign 29-year-old
Dwight Yorke wants Manchester United to sign Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window

Manchester United don’t need to scout potential signings in the World Cup given Gareth Bale is the perfect addition to the Red Devils team, Dwight Yorke has claimed.
The Red Devils have already been active in the summer transfer window after Jose Mourinho successfully recruited two players to their squad ahead of the new season.
Manchester United have confirmed a deal to sign Brazil international Fred in a £52m deal from Ukrainian Premier League champions Shakthar Donetsk.
Fred will bolster their midfield options after Michael Carrick’s retirement and Marouane Fellaini set to move on a free transfer.
Manchester United have also signed Portuguese teenager Diogo Dalot in a £17m deal from FC Porto to improve their versatility at the back.
There is a sense that the Red Devils need to add more flair and pace to their squad after the predictable performances last term.
Bale’s future at Real Madrid remains in doubt despite Zinedine Zidane standing down as manager at The Bernabeu.
Former Manchester United striker Yorke believes the Red Devils should sign Bale and forget about signing any breakout World Cup star.
“United and Jose don’t need to look at the World Cup. No player suits us more than Gareth Bale,” said Yorke, speaking exclusively to 888sport.
“Yes there will always be some exciting candidates to look at but Bale is someone who excites me. He is the right age, in his prime, and will be the perfect addition.”
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term and lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final.
