Neil Lennon believes Manchester United are one of four possible destinations for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale this summer.

The Red Devils are in the market to sign the Wales international following a difficult 2017-18 season under Zinedine Zidane.

Bale failed to secure a place in the Real Madrid starting XI for their Champions League final in Kiev last month.

However, the 29-year-old came off the bench to score two goals in a 3-1 win against Premier League club Liverpool FC in the European Cup showpiece.

Bale hinted at his possible departure at the end of the season after falling down the pecking order at Real Madrid.

However, Zidane’s departure could offer Bale a lifeline at los Blancos with a new chance to impress the Frenchman’s successor.

Former Celtic boss Lennon believes Manchester United are contenders to sign Bale this summer.

“The two Manchester clubs, Bayern Munich and Juventus,” Lennon told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“I don’t see PSG coming in.”

Bale moved to La Liga giants Real Madrid in a £85.7m deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the 2013 summer transfer window.

The Wales international has won four Champions League titles, La Liga crown and the Copa del Rey during five seasons at Real Madrid.

Bale won the 2013 PFA player of the year award folliwing an incredible season at Spurs.
