Spanish media outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Manchester United boss wants Alba to solve the club’s long-running problems at left-back next season.
The same article states that Manchester United could find it difficult to lure the Spanish full-back to Old Trafford given Alba’s insistence that he is content at FC Barcelona.
Manchester United have already signed Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot in a £17m deal from European giants FC Porto to improve their options in defence.
However, the teenager has limited experience in top flight football after the Portuguese starlet made eight appearances in the 2017-18 season for FC Porto.
