Jose Mourinho demands two more Man United signings – report
Jose Mourinho still wants to make two more key signings at Man United this summer, say reports
Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United to sign a new central defender and left-back before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Times, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils boss is still keen to significantly bolster his options at the back ahead of next season.
Manchester United have already confirmed two new signings this summer after bringing in Brazilian midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk and full-back Diogo Dalot from FC Porto.
However, it is claimed in the same story that Mourinho has informed Red Devils chief Ed Woodward that he still wants to bring in a new left-back and centre-half this summer as he looks to further strengthen his team.
Mourinho is keen to continue bolstering his squad as he looks to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils ended last season without a trophy as they finished second and 19 points behind champions Manchester City.
Manchester United have not won the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in the 2012-13 campaign, although they did lift both the Europa League and League Cup in Mourinho’s first season at Old Trafford.
