Man United make decision about top Brazilian defender – report
Man United are no longer interested in singing Alex Sandro from Juventus, according to reports
Manchester United have decided against a move to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus this summer, according to reports in the British regional media.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Red Devils are not going to make a move to try and bring the Brazilian defender to Old Trafford this summer, despite having previously shown an interest in the full-back.
The 27-year-old is no stranger to being linked with a move to the Premier League and he was strongly touted as a target for Chelsea FC last summer, but a switch did not materialise.
Sandro had been touted as a possible target for Manchester United this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
However, it is now believed that the Red Devils will look elsewhere as they bid to try and build a team capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The same story says that Sandro is no longer on Manchester United’s radar this summer as he instead mulls over the offer of a new contract at Juventus.
Indeed, Manchester United are said to be looking at other, less expensive options at full-back this summer.
