Manchester United are prepared to pay €70m to sign Tony Kroos from Real Madrid, according to reports
Manchester United are prepared to pay €70m to try and sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, who are know for their outlandish transfer claims, are reporting that the Germany midfielder has emerged as one of Jose Mourinho’s top transfer targets this summer as the Red Devils boss looks to strengthen his squad.
Kroos has been linked with Manchester United in the past, and the Red Devils are now being touted as wanting to bring the 28-year-old midfielder to Old Trafford this summer.
There has also been a suggestion that a swap deal involving Paul Pogba could also be organised.
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Red Devils look to try and strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The Red Devils ended up in second place in the Premier League table last season and 19 points off champions Manchester City.
Manchester United also missed out on a chance to win a trophy last season when they were beaten by Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley at the end of May.
