The Red Devils are being linked with a potential move to sign the Brazil international in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Willian played under Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge for three seasons before the Portuguese coach was sacked in 2015.
The South American forward was part of Mourinho’s Chelsea FC team that won the Premier League and League Cup double in 2014-15.
The 29-year-old came off the bench for the final minutes of Chelsea FC’s 1-0 win against Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May.
Willian appeared to make public is falling out with Chelsea FC boss Antonio Conte after a controversial post on Instagram following the win.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth believes Chelsea FC could end up selling Willian to Manchester United in the transfer window.
“I’d say don’t rule it out simply because they did it with Matic as well,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“It depends on the managerial situation at Chelsea.”
Willian has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his spell at Stamford Bridge after his move from Russia.
Manchester United signed Serbia international Nemanja Matic in a £40m deal from Chelsea FC in the 2017 summer transfer window.
