Manchester United are still keen to sign Willian from Chelsea FC this summer even after completing the deal for Fred, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Express is reporting that the Red Devils still want to bring the Brazilian playmaker to Old Trafford this summer, despite the impending arrival of Fred at the club.

Manchester United have long been linked with a move to sign Willian and they were touted as being interested in the attacker last summer, but a switch failed to materialise.

Willian may now be looking for a new club this summer after he struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team under Antonio Conte last season.

According to the same story, Willian has been on Manchester United’s transfer radar since January, as Jose Mourinho looks for a reunion with the talented attacker.

Mourinho is said to be a keen admirer of the 29-year-old, and Manchester United could be set to pursue a deal to sign Willian even after a move for fellow Brazilian Fred was completed.

Manchester United will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season after the Red Devils finished second but without a trophy last term.
