Tottenham want to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports
Tottenham Hotspur are keen on a move to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele but no deal has yet been reached, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Lilywhites are keen on a deal to bring the 21-year-old to White Hart Lane this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
However, the same story says that there has not yet been any contact between the two clubs, contrary to other reports in France recently.
The same article says that Lyon do not want to sell Ndombele this summer, after having only recently signed him on a permanent contract from Amiens.
The story also claims that he could be seen as a potential replacement for Mousa Dembele, who is said to be a target for clubs in China and Italy this summer.
Ndombele made 43 appearances for Lyon in all competitions last season.
Spurs are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to try and steer his side to a Premier League title challenge next season.
The north London side ended up in third place in the Premier League table last term behind both of the Manchester clubs after an impressive campaign in the top flight.
