Tottenham star backing Man United’s Paul Pogba to shine

Hugo Lloris is backing Paul Pogba to fulfil his potential for both Manchester United and France.
The 25-year-old has found himself under the spotlight at Old Trafford since completing a world-record transfer move to the Red Devils from Juventus back in the summer of 2016.
Pogba was in stuttering form last season after having started the campaign strongly, and he was heavily scrutinised for his performances for the Red Devils last term.
Most Manchester United fans would probably agree that Pogba is yet to fulfil his potential since his move back to Old Trafford two summers ago.
Pogba will be hoping to enjoy a positive World Cup campaign as he bids to help France challenge for the trophy in Russia.
And his international team-mate Lloris has had some words of encouragement for the midfielder ahead of this summer’s tournament.
Lloris is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “Paul is no longer a young player. He has collected experience with his club and with the national team.
“He has a lot of talent and that label has stuck with him since the beginning.
“He has had a very good season, although people still debate it. As a football player and as a football fan, I think he had a very good season.
“He has this desire to shine with the French national team. Will he be the ‘boss’? That’s a strong word but a ‘leader’ is what is expected of him on and off the field.
“He is reaching maturity and he wants to do well. But it’s also important that he focuses on his individual performance. This is the best way, to lead by example.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United are likely to be on the lookout for a number of signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next season.
The Red Devils finished second and without a trophy under Jose Mourinho last term.
