Arsenal and Chelsea FC are looking to sign Bayer Leverkusen forward Leon Bailey, according to a report
Arsenal and Chelsea FC have been put on red alert to sign Bayer Leverkusen forward Leon Bailey, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that Chelsea FC are eager to sign the 20-year-old attacker to bolster their Blues squad ahead of the new Premier League season under Maurizio Sarri.
The same article states that Arsenal have also shown an interest in the Jamaica international as Unai Emery looks to add genuine pace to the Chelsea FC team.
According to the same story, Bailey is eager to force through a move to the Premier League this summer despite being under contract at Bayer Leverkusen until 2022.
The Sun goes on to state that German club Leverkusen would be willing to accept an offer in the region of £40m in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Arsenal have been very active in the summer transfer window so far following the additions of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
Chelsea FC have only managed to sign one player this summer after new Blues manager sealed a deal to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The Blues finished above Arsenal in the Premier League table last term.
