Arsenal, Man United want 24-year-old Croatia star – report
Arsenal and Man United are ready to rival Bayern Munich for Croatia star Ante Rebic this summer, according to a report
Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in a potential deal to sign Croatia star Ante Rebic, according to a report in Germany.
SportBild, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the World Cup star is attracting interest from the Premier League following his impressive performances in Russia.
The same article states that Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen to sign the 24-year-old after Croatia were 2-1 winners against England in extra time in Wednesday’s semi-final.
According to the same story, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also interested in Rebic to provide Arsenal and Manchester United with competition for the midfielder’s signature.
SportBild claim that Tottenham Hotspur were the first club to register their interest in the Croatian but Spurs face competition from four other clubs to sign Rebic in the current transfer window.
Rebic scored nine goals and made three assists during his second season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
The Bundesliga side agreed a deal to sign the Croatian playmaker earlier this summer but Rebic could be on the move again this summer.
Manchester United have already signed Fred and Diogo Dalot this summer, while Arsenal have added five new players to their squad.
