Matteo Guendouzi looks to be in good spirits after having completed his transfer to Arsenal from Lorient this week.

The 19-year-old became the Gunners’ fourth signing of the summer transfer window on Wednesday when he signed a long-term deal with the north London side after joining for an undisclosed fee.

Guendouzi was put straight to work at London Colney as he underwent his first training session with the north London side following his move to The Emirates.

And he looked to be in high spirits as he trained with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette at The Emirates on Wednesday.

Guendouzi posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday and wrote the caption: “My first training with my new Coach and new team 🔴⚪️🙏🏼

“#WeAreTheArsenal #GunnerGuendouzi #MG29.”

Arsenal will be looking to at least be able to break back into the top four next season after they finished in a disappointing sixth place in the Premier League last term.

The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph under Arsene Wenger back in the 2003-04 campaign.

The Gunners have now made four new signings this summer since Unai Emery was appointed as the north London side’s new manager back in May.
