Unai Emery has made a number of major changes at Arsenal since taking over from Arsene Wenger, according to reports in the British media.
Football.london, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the new man in charge at The Emirates has made a number of changes since the Gunners began their pre-season schedule last week.
The same report says that Emery’s training sessions have been focused on more work with the ball, rather than the fitness drills which were common under Wenger in pre-season.
The story also claims that Emery has restricted mobile phone use during meal times at the training ground to encourage more interaction between team-mates.
It is also claimed that Arsenal’s main youth teams now eat at the same time as the first team at London Colney to promote integration between the players.
And it is also reported that Emery is taking more of a hands-on approach during training sessions than Arsene Wenger did.
Arsenal will be looking to at least break back into the top four next season after they finished in sixth place and without a trophy last term.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since 2004.
