Unai Emery wants to sign a new winger to bring out the best in Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, according to a report.
Football.London, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Gunners manager is looking to make a signing to bring out the best in Ozil in the Arsenal team next season.
The same article states that the Spanish head coach wants to bring in a winger to procure some top performances from the World Cup winner in the 2018-19 Premier League season.
According to the same story, Emery is aware that he needs to sign a right winger to help revive Ozil’s stagnating career at the Emirates Stadium.
The report goes on to suggest that a move to sign Mexico international Hirving Lozano from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven could be on the cards.
Arsenal have also been linked with a swoop to sign Portugal international Gelson Martins after he ended his contract with Sporting Lisbon.
Arsenal signed experienced Switzerland international Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer from Serie A giants Juventus.
The Gunners have also brought in Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno in a £20m deal.
The north London outfit have also brought on Greece international Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund earlier this week.
