Kingsley Coman has insisted that he hasn’t held talks with Arsenal about a potential summer move to The Emirates.

The Gunners have been linked with a surprise swoop to sign the France international in the summer transfer window.

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is thought to be eager to sign a direct, pacy winger ahead of the new Premier League season.

Ousmane Dembele has been listed as one potential target but FC Barcelona are unlikely to sell their second most expensive signing.

The Gunners have been linked with a swoop to sign Coman following a difficult 2017-18 season at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Coman only started 10 games in the Bundesliga last season to raise questions about his long-term future at the Allianz Arena.

However, the Bayern star has rubbished speculation suggesting that he has held discussions with the Gunners about a potential move.

“That’s not true,” Coman told Sport1. “I’ve had no contact with Arsenal. I’ve just extended my contract here at Bayern and I’m planning to stay for many more years.”

Arsenal signed experienced Switzerland international Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer from Serie A giants Juventus.

The Gunners have also brought in Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno in a £20m deal.

The north London outfit have also brought on Greece international Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.

Lucas Torreira became the fourth addition at The Emirates before Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi finalised a move.
