Cesc Fabregas seems to have been keeping himself in peak physical condition during the summer after he reported back to Chelsea FC for pre-season training this weekend.

The 31-year-old has been enjoying a summer without any football after he wasn’t called up to the Spain squad for the World Cup in Russia.

Fabregas will be hoping to make sure that he is in peak physical condition as he bids to help Chelsea FC to enjoy a successful campaign next term.

The midfielder reported back to Cobham for pre-season training over the weekend along with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso.

And Fabregas looked to be in good shape as he posed for a photo and posted it on his personal Instagram account.

Fabregas shared the snap above on the social network and wrote the caption: “Are you ready? Preseason number 16 💪🏻.”

Chelsea FC will be aiming to at least challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished in a disappointing fifth place last season and missed out on Champions League qualification.

The west London side did manage to end last season on a positive note, however, as they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
