Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he is in constant contact with Eden Hazard over the Chelsea FC star’s future at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international is being linked with a big money swoop to La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the current transfer window.

Reports in Spain on Thursday suggested that Real Madrid had reached a £170m agreement with Chelsea FC over the sale of Hazard.

The 27-year-old’s sale would certainly provide new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri with the funds to improve their team ahead of his debut campaign in the Premier League.

Hazard impressed at the World Cup as the Belgium captain fired Roberto Martinez’s side to a semi-final appearance before a 1-0 loss to France.

Chelsea FC star Fabregas has revealed that he has been messaging Hazard about the number 10’s future at the west London side.

“I won’t lie, I speak to him (Hazard) often. He is the best player at the club and we need Chelsea to keep the best players,” Fabregas is quoted as saying by Metro.

“He knows the fans love him and he’s a player we love to play with. For sure, we want him to stay.”

Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.

The Blues sacked Antonio Conte last week following two seasons under the Italian’s management.

His compatriot Maurizio Sarri has taken over the reins from Conte and the former Napoli boss has already signed Jorginho in a £57m deal.
