The west London side are being linked with a host of new players this summer as they look to assemble a squad at least capable of breaking back into the top four next season.
The Blues missed out on Champions League qualification for next season after they ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table and won the FA Cup last term.
It is still unclear who will be in charge at Chelsea FC next season, with Antonio Conte’s future at the club still seemingly up in the air.
Juventus striker Higuain has been touted as a possible target for the west London side in recent weeks as the Blues consider bolstering their attacking options ahead of next season.
However, the player’s agent has now appeared to pour cold water on such talk by insisting that the former Real Madrid forward is happy at Juventus.
Higuain’s brother and agent Nicolas Higuain is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard: “At the moment we haven’t spoken to any other clubs, as we have a three-year contract with Juventus.
“He is very happy in the city, at the club, with the coach and the tactical system. All these things people talked about other clubs are just rumours, we haven’t spoken to anybody. At the moment, he has three years on his contract with Juventus.
“Everyone knows his rapport with Sarri is wonderful and he sees him as a football father. But as far as I know, Sarri hasn’t even signed for Chelsea yet.
“Secondly, Gonzalo is happy in Turin and hasn’t received any indication from Juve, so I see no real chance of him leaving.”
Chelsea FC will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season, with the Blues having won the trophy in two of the last four years.
