Chelsea FC have entered the race to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer transfer window, according to a report in Italy

Chelsea FC have entered the race to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but face competition from their bitter rivals Manchester United, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport, as quoted by talkSPORT, is reporting that the Blues have identified Milinkovic-Savic as a potential candidate to improve their midfield options.
The same article states that the Serbia international is already attracting interest from Champions League winners Real Madrid and FA Cup runners up Manchester United.
According to the same story, Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as Antonio Conte’s successor has seen Chelsea FC hone in on the potential signing of Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
Corriere dello Sport go on to claim that Lazio have reduced their asking price to £115m for the 23-year-old but the Serie A giants would be willing for a player to be included in a potential package deal.
The report suggests Spain international Cesc Fabregas could be used as a makeweight in a deal for the Serbia starlet.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League last term to condemn the Blues to a second campaign in three seasons without Champions League football.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last term.
