Maurizio Sarri is confident that Jorginho will prove a big hit at Chelsea FC.

The Blues sacked Antonio Conte last week following months of speculation surrounding the Italian head coach’s future at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea FC appointed his compatriot Sarri as their new manager at the weekend to finally solve the managerial crisis at the west London side.

Sarri wasted no time completing his first summer signing after Jorginho completed a £57m switch to Chelsea FC despite previous interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Jorginho helped Napoli to challenge Juventus in the Serie A title race last term, although the Turn side eventually ran out comfortable top-flight winners.

The Italy international, who was born in Brazil, scored two goals and made four assists in 33 appearances in Serie A last season.

New Chelsea FC boss Sarri shed light on what Blues supporters can expect from their first summer signing.

“Jorginho is not a physical player, he is a technical player,” Sarri is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.

“The most important quality is that he is very quick in the mind. So he has the ability to move the ball very quickly.”

Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.

The Blues were 1-0 winners against their bitter rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last term.

The west London side will be hoping to secure a return to the top four next season.
