Alvaro Morata will hold talks with Chelsea FC chiefs to discuss his future at the club, according to reports
Alvaro Morata will hold talks with Chelsea FC chiefs to discuss his situation at the club, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the 25-year-old forward is scheduled to hold discussions with the west London club this summer in a bid to resolve his situation ahead of next season.
Morata endured something of a difficult first campaign in England last season after signing from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
He started the season strongly but he struggled to keep his form consistent throughout the campaign, as he struggled with a back injury in the second part of the season.
There has been speculation linking Morata with a move away from Chelsea FC just a year after he moved to the west London club from Real Madrid.
However, the same report now says that Morata will hold talks with Chelsea FC chiefs when he returns from his summer holidays on 9 July.
The same story says that Chelsea FC are still hopeful that Morata can improve from his difficult first campaign in England.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are yet to officially make any new signings this summer after they finished in fifth place last term.
