Reporter tips Chelsea FC star to move to Real Madrid
Kristof Terreur is backing Real Madrid to sign Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea FC this summer
Thibaut Courtois will sign for Real Madrid this summer if the Spanish club make a reasonable offer for the Chelsea FC goalkeeper, according to reporter Kristof Terreur.
Courtois’ future at Chelsea FC has been a constant source of speculation this summer as his current contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire at the end of next season.
The Belgian goalkeeper has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer and his comments in the wake of the World Cup have suggested that Courtois could well be on his way out of Chelsea FC this summer.
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will be able to wrap up a move for Courtois in the coming days or not, but Belgian reporter Terreur seems to think that a deal for the goalkeeper could be agreed soon.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Terreur said: “They know they have to cash in on him [Courtois] now.
“Chelsea don’t let contracts run down. If Real make the offer Chelsea want, he is gone.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently getting used to life under new manager Maurizio Sarri after the Italian was officially confirmed as Antonio Conte’s successor over the weekend.
The Blues also moved swiftly to bring in midfielder Jorginho as their first major signing of the summer transfer window.
