Craig Burley has admitted that he is concerned about the situation at Chelsea FC ahead of next season.

The Blues have brought in Maurizio Sarri as their new manager after opting to part company with Antonio Conte earlier this month.

Chelsea FC have been linked with a host of players in the summer transfer window but they have so far only signed Jorginho from Napoli.

There has also been relentless speculation about a number of players’ futures at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Morata all having been linked with a move away from Chelsea FC.

And Burley feels that the uncertainty surrounding the key players’ futures at Stamford Bridge is not helping them to prepare for the new Premier League season, which kicks off next month.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Burley said: “The big worry for Chelsea is they’re talking about Courtois, Hazard, Willian and Morata [leaving]. A lot of big players looking to leave.”

Chelsea FC ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table last season and won the FA Cup after having beaten Manchester United in the final back in May.

The Blues had won the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge.
