Reporter claims Eden Hazard has ‘heart set’ on Chelsea FC exit
Eden Hazard is keen on a move to Real Madrid this summer, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur
Eden Hazard has his “heart set” on a transfer to Spain this summer, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.
The Belgian playmaker’s future has been a constant source of speculation this summer after Chelsea FC failed to book a place in the Champions League for next season following their fifth-placed finish last term.
Hazard has two years left to run on his current contract at Chelsea FC but the speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid has heightened in recent weeks after his comments suggested that he would be open to a Stamford Bridge exit.
The attacker joined Chelsea FC from Lille back in the summer of 2012 and he has won two Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge.
Now though, Belgian reporter Terreur has claimed that Hazard is determined to try and force a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Terreur said: “He [Hazard] wouldn’t mind playing under an attacking manager like Sarri but he has his heart set on [a transfer to] Spain.”
Chelsea FC are currently preparing for life under new manager Maurizio Sarri after his appointment at Stamford Bridge over the weekend.
The west London side finished in fifth place in the table last term but secured the signing of Jorginho as their first summer recruit on Saturday.
