Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez both looked to be in high spirits as they continued pre-season training with Chelsea FC at Cobham this week.

The two Spaniards have reported back to Cobham for pre-season training after neither of them were called up to the Spain squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

The Blues squad reported to their training ground over the weekend to commence their preparations for the new campaign as they look to try and rebuild following a difficult season last term.

The west London side ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table as they missed out on Champions League qualification under Antonio Conte.

However, they did manage to at least end the campaign on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May.

And both Fabregas and Pedro seem to be in good spirits, if the picture above from Chelsea FC training is anything to go by.

Chelsea FC are likely to be busy in the final month of the summer transfer window as they bid to build a team capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

The Blues won the title in Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club in 2016-17.
