Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez both looked to be in good spirits as they continued their preparations for the new season with Chelsea FC.

The Blues squad have jetted off to Australia to begin their pre-season schedule as Maurizio Sarri looks to drill his team into shape ahead of his first campaign in charge at the club.

Sarri was brought in as Chelsea FC’s new manager last weekend as the Blues moved quickly to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.

Fabregas and Pedro have both reported back to Chelsea FC to begin their preparations after they were both omitted from the Spain squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

And the pair both seemed to be in good shape as they trained with their Chelsea FC team-mates in Australia during their pre-season preparations.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC completed their first signing of the summer transfer window last weekend when they tied up a deal to bring Jorginho to Stamford Bridge from Napoli.

The west London side are still thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
