Jorginho has taken to social media to reveal his delight at signing for Chelsea FC from Napoli this summer.

The Brazil born Italy midfielder became Chelsea FC’s first signing of the summer transfer window on Saturday as he followed new manager Maurizio Sarri to the west London club.

Jorginho had previously been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City this summer but the Blues ended up completing a deal to bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge.

He will now be hoping to earn a regular spot in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge next season as he bids to help Chelsea FC to bounce back from their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last term.

Jorginho has been training with his new team-mates at Cobham this week, and the Brazilian posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “I’m extremely excited and thankful with Chelsea FC for bringing me here and giving me the opportunity of playing in such a prestigious league and team.

“To all the fans, you can count I already am the 1st Supporter of the team!

“On top, I will have the chance to work again with the same coach of my last years in Napoli which will help me a lot to get used to this league very fast.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC’s main target this season will be to at least break back into the top four after they finished in a disappointing fifth place last term.

They did manage to end Antonio Conte’s second campaign in charge at the club on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May.
