Jorginho is hoping that his playing style will be able to inspire Chelsea FC to a Premier League title challenge next season.

The Brazil born Italy international became Chelsea FC’s first signing of the summer transfer window last weekend as new manager Maurizio Sarri moved quickly to bolster his options at Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder had been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer transfer window, but he ended up signing for Chelsea FC last weekend.

Jorginho will be hoping to help Chelsea FC mount a serious Premier League title challenge next season as the Blues look to try and improve on their disappointing campaign last term.

And the midfielder is hoping that he will be able to have a significant impact at Stamford Bridge next term.

Speaking in an interview quoted by Sky Sports, Jorginho said: “Today everyone watches the Premier League so I have watched plenty of it in my time. It is a fantastic league, the best in the world I think.

“Perhaps my style of play is not something that is seen in England, I really hope that it is a good fit for the game over here and I will certainly be doing everything I can to make sure it works out.

“I like playing just outside of my own penalty box, the player who receives the ball and organises the game.”

Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of breaking back into the top four next season.

The Blues ended up in fifth place and won the FA Cup in Antonio Conte’s final campaign in charge last term.
