David Luiz has lavished praise on Jorginho and is backing the midfielder to have a big impact at Chelsea FC next season.

The Brazil born Italy international signed for the Blues from Napoli earlier this month as new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri moved quickly to start strengthening his squad ahead of next season.

Jorginho will be looking to become a regular fixture in the first team at Stamford Bridge next season as he looks to quickly adapt to the rigours of English football.

And David Luiz says that he has been very impressed by the way Jorginho has adapted to life at Chelsea FC in his first few weeks training with the club.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Luiz said: “He’s a fantastic player and I’m so happy to play with him, he’s top, top class.

“He always wants the ball, he’s always in good space and always creates lines to pass.

“He already knows the philosophy of our coach and I’m so happy to have this kind of player in our team.”

Chelsea FC will be looking to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title next season as they look to try and challenge for the trophy.

The Blues ended up in a disappointing fifth place in the table last term as they missed out on Champions League qualification and won the FA Cup in Antonio Conte’s final campaign in charge.

Chelsea FC have also signed Rob Green so far this summer.
