Chelsea FC have opened talks with Juventus over a double deal to sign both Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Football Italia is reporting that the Blues are keen to bring both of the Juve stars to Stamford Bridge this summer as Maurizio Sarri looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
Sarri was finally confirmed as Chelsea FC’s new manager over the weekend after the Blues parted company with Antonio Conte, and Jorginho was swiftly unveiled as the west London club’s first signing of the summer.
The same report claims that Chelsea FC are now keen to secure the signatures of both striker Higuain and defender Rugani in a double deal that could be worth as much as €100m.
According to the same story, Juventus will be seeking a transfer fee of around €60m for Higuain, while the price-tag for centre-half Rugani would be €40m.
Chelsea FC will be keen to get their transfer business done as quickly as possible in the coming weeks as the new Premier League season looms large.
The Blues will have to settle for just Europa League football next season after they finished in fifth place last term.
