Chelsea FC eye move to sign 21-year-old Lyon star – report
Chelsea FC will look to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon if N'Golo Kante leaves, say reports
Chelsea FC are planning a move to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon this summer if N’Golo Kante leaves Stamford Bridge, according to reports in the British media.
Website Goal is claiming that the Blues have shown a strong interest in signing the 21-year-old midfielder this summer and that they could make a move to land him if Kante ends up leaving Stamford Bridge.
The same report says that Kante is a serious target for French side Paris Saint-Germain this summer as they look to bolster their midfield options ahead of next season.
French midfielder Ndombele has also been attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but Chelsea FC could be set to make a move if Kante ends up leaving Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are yet to officially announce any new signings this summer despite the west London side having finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season and missing out on Champions League qualification.
Chelsea FC will be at least looking to assemble a squad capable of breaking back into the top four next season under whoever their manager ends up being.
The west London side have won the Premier League title in two of the last four seasons.
