The Blues’ situation this summer has been a source of much uncertainty, with Antonio Conte’s future having been a relentless source of speculation.
Batshuayi was shipped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of last season after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements by Conte at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international is currently on duty with his national team at the World Cup and he has inevitably been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge given his lack of playing time at Chelsea FC since joining the club in 2016.
However, Sky Sports News reporter Sheth feels that Batshuayi is set to wait until the managerial situation at Chelsea FC is resolved before making a decision about his future.
Speaking on the Transfer Talk podcast, Sheth said: “I think every Chelsea player who wasn’t in Conte’s plans is waiting to see what happens with the next manager.”
Chelsea FC are going to be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season after the Blues finished in fifth place in the table last term and missed out on Champions League qualification.
