The Italian manager was appointed as Antonio Conte’s successor last weekend after the Blues opted to part company with their previous boss after two years.
Sarri will be aiming to steer Chelsea FC to a Premier League title challenge next season after the Blues ended up in a disappointing fifth place last term.
The west London side missed out on Champions League qualification for this season but they did manage to end last term on a high by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May.
And Fabregas seems to think that he will be well-suited to the style of play that Sarri is set to implement at Stamford Bridge from next season.
Speaking at a news conference in Australia, Fabregas said: “It is a way of football that I believe in, that I really like and I grew up in this system and the quality of football that he wants to bring to the football club. For the type of player like myself it can be an advantage.
“I think we just need to train very hard, be united, be a team and then however he decides he wants us to play, we need to figure out for ourselves on the pitch and try to win trophies, which is the main thing.
“Of course we want to play well, we want to be attractive but we want to win as well and we have an important season in front of us.”
Chelsea FC completed their first signing of the summer transfer window last weekend when they tied up a deal to bring Jorginho to Stamford Bridge from Napoli.
The Blues are still thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to challenge for the title next term.
