Jean Michael Seri has signed a pre-contract agreement with Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the French media.

French outlet Euro United, as quoted by 101 Great Goals, is reporting that the Nice midfielder has given his word to Chelsea FC about his proposed transfer to the west London club this summer.

According to the same report, Seri has already penned a pre-contract agreement with Chelsea FC ahead of his proposed transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer.

It is also claimed in the same story that the potential signing of Seri would not affect N’Golo Kante’s future at Stamford Bridge, after the midfielder was linked with a move away from the west London club this summer.

Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to build a squad capable of winning the title next season.

However, the west London side are yet to make any new signings as the new season draws ever closer.

Chelsea FC missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League after they finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season.

They did end the campaign strongly by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final however.
