Chelsea FC have joined West Ham United in the race to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio, according to reports
Chelsea FC have joined West Ham United in the race to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.
Italian newspaper Il Tempo, as quoted by football.london, is reporting that the Blues are keen on a move to bring the 25-year-old attacking midfielder to Stamford Bridge as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
The same report says that West Ham United are also keen on a deal to land the Brazilian attacker this summer as the Hammers look to strengthen their own squad.
The story claims that Chelsea FC are keen to join the race to sign Anderson from Lazio this summer and that they are preparing a bid of €30m for the attacker.
However, the same article says that that won’t be enough to tempt Lazio into selling the Brazilian.
Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a host of new signings this summer, but the Blues have not yet completed any transfer deals.
They will be looking to build a squad at least capable of breaking back into the top four next season after they finished in fifth place and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term.
