Chelsea FC are ready to make a £62m bid to sign Alisson from AS Roma this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.
Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by Sky Sports, is reporting that the west London side are pondering making a big-money move to bring the shot-stopper to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The same story says that the Blues are weighing up a deal to bring the 25-year-old goalkeeper to west London, as the speculation about Thibaut Courtois’ long-term future at the club continues.
According to the same story, a move for Chelsea FC to sign Alisson this summer could pave the way for Courtois to move to Real Madrid.
Alisson has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool FC in the past and he has also been touted as a target for Real Madrid this summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are yet to officially make any new signings this summer after having finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term.
The Blues are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as they look to try and build a squad at least capable of breaking back into the top four next season.
