Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in Manchester United star Anthony Martial, Michael Bridge has claimed.

The France international is facing an uncertain future at the Manchester club after struggling to hold down a regular starting spot under Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United signed Martial in a £36m deal during Louis van Gaal’s spell in charge of the Premier League runners up.

The Red Devils forward was linked with a potential switch to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Serie A side Inter Milan last term.

Martial has also been touted with a move to Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Tottenham in the current transfer window.

However, Chelsea appear to have entered the race to sign Martial ahead of Spurs and interest from the Bundesliga.

Sky Sports News reporter Bridge confirmed that both Chelsea and Tottenham want to sign the France star this summer.

“Chelsea have now entered the fray for Martial,” Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast. “Spurs have a long standing interest in Martial.”

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also thought to be monitoring Martial’s situation at Manchester United.
