FC Barcelona would be interested in a deal to sign Eden Hazard if the Chelsea star is to leave this summer, Graham Hunter has claimed.

The Blues forward has been heavily linked with a potential exit at Stamford Bridge this summer following the World Cup.

Hazard has hinted at a potential move to La Liga over the past few days amid interest from FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old failed to fire the Blues to a fourth place in the Premier League table to miss out on a Champions League spot.

Hazard has won two Premier League titles, the Europa League, the FA Cup and the League Cup since his move to Chelsea FC from Lille in 2011.

La Liga expert Hunter believes FC Barcelona remain interested in a deal to sign the Belgian forward in the current transfer window.

“They want Hazard,” Hunter told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“They have dallied with him over two seasons. If Hazard were to move, Barcelona would want to speak to Chelsea.”

Chelsea FC won the FA Cup last season thanks to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the final at Wembley thanks to Hazard’s winner from the spot.

The Blues sacked Antonio Conte last week before Maurizio Sarri was appointed as his long-term successor at Stamford Bridge.

The west London side have also signed Italian midfielder Jorginho in a £57m deal from Napoli.
