Eden Hazard will find it difficult to leave Chelsea FC, according to Kristof Terreur.

The Blues forward has been regularly linked with a move to the Champions League holders over the past 24 month.

Hazard has been Chelsea FC’s key player over the past three or four seasons to underline his status as one of the Premier League’s best players.

The 27-year-old has fired the Blues to two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the Europa League since his transfer from Lille back in 2012.

Hazard won the 2015 PFA player of the year award following his 14-goal haul in their title-winning campaign under Jose Mourinho.

Belgian reporter Terreur believes Hazard will find it tough to leave the west London side.

“Real Madrid are interested,” Terreur told the Transfer Talk podcast. “Zidane was always pushing for Hazard.

“A deal never materialised. It will be difficult for him to move away from Chelsea.”

Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a chance to feature in the Champions League.

The Blues haven’t signed a player in the summer transfer window so far despite their disappointing Premier League campaign.
