Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid, according to a report.
Spanish media outlet RMC, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Blues forward has settled on a verbal agreement with the Champions League winners Real Madrid.
The same article emphasises that the agreement is between Hazard and Real Madrid but los Blancos haven’t settled on a transfer fee with the Premier League side.
According to the same story, Hazard’s value is set to dip significantly if the Belgium international remains at Chelsea FC for another season but doesn’t extend his contract.
The 27-year-old has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the Europa League and the League Cup during his six-season stint at Stamford Bridge following a move from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012.
Chelsea FC sacked Antonio Conte last week following the Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Blues have swiftly appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new boss and the controversial Italian head coach has already signed Italy international Jorginho in a £57m deal from Serie A side Napoli.
