Chelsea FC reassured Maurizio Sarri can get best out of 30-year-old Juventus star

Maurizio Sarri could get the best out of Gonzalo Higuain if Chelsea FC sign the Argentina international from Juventus this summer, ESPN FC pundit Stewart Robson has claimed.
The Argentina international has been linked with a potential move to Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window following the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo to the Juventus squad.
Higuain could find his first-team opportunities limited in Turin given increased competition from Ronaldo, as well as Paulo Dybala and World Cup runner up Mario Mandzukic.
The South American forward played under Sarri for one season at Napoli and the 30-year-old finished with career best figures of 36 goals in 35 games in the 2015-16 season.
Former Arsenal striker Robson backed Chelsea FC’s pursuit of Higuain in the current transfer window following Sarri’s appointment as Antonio Conte’s successor.
“Sarri got the best out of Higuain at Napoli,” Robson told ESPN FC.
“It was the best I saw him play. He was absolutely outstanding!
“He scored lots of goals. There won’t be a place for him at Juventus this season with Ronaldo going there.
“So Higuain would suit Chelsea perfectly.”
Chelsea FC axed Antonio Conte last week after the Italian head coach led the west London side to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League table last term.
The FA Cup winners signed Italian midfielder Jorginho in a £57m deal from Serie A giants Napoli just days after Sarri was confirmed as the Blues’ new manager.
Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past four seasons.
