Sky Sports News reporter gives Chelsea FC transfer update on Gonzalo Higuain
Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth claims Juventus want to sell Chelsea FC target Gonzalo Higuain
Juventus are ready to offload Chelsea FC target Gonazlo Higuain, according to Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The Argentina international has been linked with a potential exit in the summer transfer window after Juve signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
Higuain has a rich pedigree from his spell in Serie A after the South American enjoyed stints at Napoli and Juventus.
The Juventus forward netted 16 goals in 34 games in Serie A last season to help the Turin side retain their top-flight crown.
The 29-year-old worked under new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri for 12 months at the Naples side before a move to Juventus.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth believes Higuain could end up at Chelsea FC in the current transfer window.
“This is all linked with Higuain,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“There is talk Juve are ready to offload him. Higuain is aware of this. There are no offers.
“The link with Chelsea would make sense. In his final season at Napoli his manager was Sarri. To get him to Stamford Bridge, there would be a big transfer fee involved.”
The Blues sacked Antonio Conte last week before Maurizio Sarri was appointed as his long-term successor at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side have also signed Italian midfielder Jorginho in a £57m deal from Napoli.
