Journalist claims FC Barcelona will use 24-year-old to sign Chelsea FC star
FC Barcelona will use Andre Gomes as bait in a deal to sign Chelsea FC star N'Golo Kante, according to journalist Michael Bridge

FC Barcelona could use Andre Gomes as part of a deal to sign Chelsea FC star N’Golo Kante, Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge.
The Blues signed Kante in a £30m deal from Leicester City in the 2016 summer transfer window after he inspired the Foxes to title glory.
The France international immediately helped to transform Chelsea FC into title contenders after the Blues finished seven points above Tottenham.
Kante was one of Chelsea FC’s better performers in the 2017-18 season as the Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table.
The 27-year-old haw been linked with a potential switch to La Liga champions FC Barcelona in the current transfer window.
Sky Sports News reporter Bridge believes FC Barcelona will look to use Gomes as a makeweight in a deal for Kante this summer.
“According to our sources in Italy, FC Barcelona are keen to sign Kante. It could see Andre Gomes move to Stamford Bridge,” Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.
The Blues appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager last weekend to replace former Juventus head coach Antonio Conte.
