Chelsea FC star flies to Spain ahead of Real Madrid move – report
Chelsea FC star Thibaut Courtois is set to fly to Spain on holiday ahead of finalising his move to Real Madrid, according to a report

Thibaut Courtois has jetted to Spain ahead of finalising his move to Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.
Spanish newspaper Marca, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez doesn’t want to wait to sign Courtois on a free transfer next summer.
The same article states that Real Madrid are confident that Chelsea FC will sell Courtois in a £31m deal this summer to avoid losing the Belgium international for nothing in 12 months’ time.
Metro quotes another Spanish media outlet Onda Cero in reporting that Courtois is currently on holiday in Tenerife and is set to make a decision about his future in the coming days.
Courtois has less than 12 months left on his current deal with the west London side and the Chelsea FC number one would be available to sign on a free transfer next summer.
The Blues signed Courtois from Belgian outfit Genk in 2011 before the shot stopper was immediately sent out on loan to Atletico Madrid for three seasons.
The Belgium international has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup since replacing Petr Cech as Chelsea FC’s number one goalkeeper.
