Chelsea FC consider FC Barcelona bid for 29-year-old – report
Chelsea FC are considering accepting FC Barcelona's bid to sign Willian this summer, say reports
Chelsea FC are considering selling Willian to FC Barcelona for £65m, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues are set to have a meeting to discuss the Spanish club’s offer for the Brazilian, whose future at Stamford Bridge continues to be a source of speculation this summer.
The same report claims that Chelsea FC would rather sell Willian to FC Barcelona than Manchester United, who are also thought to be keen on the Brazil international.
The story claims that Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich is set to hold a meeting with Marina Granovskia to discuss potential incomings and outgoings at Stamford Bridge before the start of the new season.
According to the same article, this is FC Barcelona’s third bid for Willian as the Spanish side look to try and lure the attacker to Camp Nou.
Chelsea FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings themselves this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The Blues appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager earlier this month as they look to try and challenge for the title next season.
