FC Barcelona make third bid to sign Chelsea FC star – report
FC Barcelona have made a fresh bid of £55m to try and sign Willian from Chelsea FC, say reports
FC Barcelona have made a fresh bid of around £55m to try and sign Willian from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Spanish side have made a new attempt to try and lure the attacker to Camp Nou this summer as they try to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
According to the same report, FC Barcelona have already had two bids rejected for the Brazilian attacker as they try to bring the 29-year-old to the club this summer.
The same story says that Manchester United still hold an interest in Willian, but Chelsea FC would rather let the Brazilian move abroad if he is to leave Stamford Bridge.
Willian’s future has been something of a source of speculation so far this summer after he found his playing time at Stamford Bridge to be limited under Antonio Conte last term.
However, Chelsea FC have since appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager and it remains to be seen whether Willian features as part of his plans for next season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC completed their first summer signing last weekend when they tied up a deal to bring Jorginho to Stamford Bridge from Napolo.
